I'm amazed that he managed to get even that much out, considering all the crying he was doing. Is he always like this?

He might do it less once he gets more used to you, but it'll still happen every now and then.

Since we were children. But he doesn't really cry in regards to me like he used to.

That's true. And it's not difficult to only go to the room to sleep and then leave for the rest of the day.

There does at least seem to be other islands in the distance, although that's not too helpful if we can't reach them.

Someone will surely die again in the process, but this group will figure it out sooner or later.
