Satan isn't a partier in the Bible, no.

It would likely be far more torturous for us if it was Biblically accurate.

However, this is annoying.

Mm, and for the most part, the week itself isn't that terrible. The worst is just when people come back injured on Thursday, I guess.

The last two weeks might make people more careful, and I'm not sure who would go out and murder for no real motive.

Seems like that's where the coercion's coming in. Wake two people up, make it happen. Maybe the assuming that one person has to die is even helping them.

It might be the paranoia aspect. If you wake up, you're going to assume the other person wants to kill you.

And you don’t want to be the one who assumes everything will be okay, and then you end up dead.

Exactly, so it turns into a cycle where maybe neither of you had planned on killing but since there is no way to be absolutely sure, someone still ends up dead.

And you can't really fault that line of thinking, because there's a chance the other person does genuinely want you dead.

Maybe people should lock themselves in a room and not go looking for each other. Might help them hold off until the morning.

... Probably. But there's more of a chance of someone outlasting the night if they have that mentality. Lavi and Mikiri, and Uriel and Zagreus sought each other out and stayed together.

I guess that's just a normal response. Believing in safety in numbers.

Not sure. You'd think moving around, but you've always got the chance of running into someone.
