It's either that someone randomly decided to kill someone, and then we never have to deal with it again. Or maybe something else is going on that might actually affect us. There is the matter of needing invites to the party. If this might happen again, I'd like to be prepared.
If it's a predetermined thing, like a quota or a task that someone decided to fulfill then there might be a pattern to it. Like a fingerprint that points to one specific thing.
Otherwise if it's someone that just got a little murder-happy, then we have cells.
