It would be nice to get you to do what I wanted. But I would just erase what makes you Akira in the process.

[ it would be nice, but what would be left of his friend? it's not what he wants. ]

[His expression shifts then softens. His eyes glance away, down. It'd be nice to be able to give Ryo the ability to be compassionate, to like humans.

But he wants Ryo to come to that alone.]
