[He does not give the phone back. He turns into a brat and gets on the outside edge of the bed and hides the phone against his chest with both arms, hunched.]

Not in the drawer, but on the only used desk is a comically giant pencil (I guess) and an art set with all kinds of pens, pencils, and paints. There is a note that says “good job raising your tolerance! +2” beside it.
Nothing is under the bed, but it looks like something had been there maybe.
What Ryo finds in the closet is
a head.
More specifically, it’s Miki’s head from the neck up, somehow perfectly preserved. It’s sitting in the middle of a container of bereavement flowers, though they have mostly wilted by now. Hm.]
ryo takes a picture, and then he closes the closet because if he looks at miki's head for much longer he is probably going to start laughing. he knew that akira's item was 'a head', and he also said something about checking on miki when they returned from the spaceship, but...
