No, I think I was cursed. It only ended a few hours ago and curses tend to last a full day. Mephisto was also cursed to be in love with me, so it seems like someone was having some fun.

He laces their fingers and drags Ryo with him to the ice cream shop, flowers and all. Thinking about how I made Akira lactose intolerant to be funny, but now it isn't going to be funny.

at the very least ryo is not thinking of it as a date at all. he got ice cream on a date yesterday but he knows that his feelings are so fuckin unrequited that it won't cross his mind.

He comes back with some vanilla ice cream in a sugary cone.]

He sits down anyway, folding his arms on the table and putting his head on top of them.]
