ryo will take the flowers, although it is obvious he is surprised and a little confused. he knows akira is doing the flower thing for the dead so there is a brief moment of him wondering if this is akira's way of saying he is going to murder him. help.

He laces their fingers and drags Ryo with him to the ice cream shop, flowers and all. Thinking about how I made Akira lactose intolerant to be funny, but now it isn't going to be funny.

at the very least ryo is not thinking of it as a date at all. he got ice cream on a date yesterday but he knows that his feelings are so fuckin unrequited that it won't cross his mind.
